My kodak moments
We try to grab pieces of our lives as they speed past us. Photographs freeze those pieces and help us remember how we were. We don't know these lost people but if you look around, you'll find someone just like them. - Gene McSweeney

Panoramic view of Sevilla Bull Ring
From the upper area of the arena, seven pictures where taken with a tripod to take a panoramic picture of this bulling in Sevilla. Photoshop was used to stitch them together into one long image. Taken this day. |

Barcelona - Spain
From lonely planet: Set on a plain rising gently from the sea to a range of wooded hills, Barcelona is Spain's most cosmopolitan city and one of the Mediterranean's busiest ports. Restaurants, bars and clubs are always packed, as is the seaside in summer. You might get the impression it's dedicated exclusively to hedonism, but it's a hard-working, dynamic place hoping to place itself in the vanguard of 21st-century Europe with a heavy concentration of hi-tech and biomedical business. |

Granada - Spain
From lonely planet: Granada has an edge over other Andalucian cities. Many visitors don’t get past the allure of the Alhambra, with its woods and the Sierra Nevada as magnificent backdrops, and the mystery of the winding streets of the Albayzín. But what you’ll find if you stick around is Andalucía’s hippest, youthful city, with a free-tapas culture, innovative bars, tiny flamenco holes and thumping clubs. Here, the Islamic past feels recent as a growing North African population has filled the Albayzín with kebab and cake shops and slipper and tea nooks and even a newly-constructed mosque. |

Sevilla - Spain
From lonely planet: If any one place comes close to rolling together everything that’s quintessentially Andalucian, it’s Seville. Here in the region’s capital and biggest city, that special Andalucian way of life is distilled into its purest and most intense form. Seville has the most passionate and portentous Semana Santa (Holy Week), the most festive and romantic annual feria (fair), the best tapas bars, the best nightlife and the most stylish people in Andalucía. It has more narrow, winding, medieval lanes and romantic, hidden plazas soaked in the scent of orange blossom than half of Andalucía’s other cities put together. It’s the home of those two bulwarks of Andalucian tradition, flamenco and bullfighting, and its heri‑tage of art and architecture (Roman, Islamic, Gothic, Renaissance, baroque) is without rival in southern Spain. |

Toledo - Spain
Toledo’s charms can be dampened somewhat if the streets are choked up with tour groups. Try and stay until dusk, if you can, when the city returns to the locals and the streets take on a moody, other-worldly air. |

Madrid - Spain
From lonely planet: No city on earth is more alive than Madrid, a beguiling place whose sheer energy carries a simple message: this is one city which really knows how to live.

Keukenhof Garden - Holland
The Keukenhof is the world’s best known spring garden, as famous for its stunning tulips and inspirational displays of colour as for its horticultural precision. During the short two month period that it is open to the public each spring, the Keukenhof receives hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world. |

Brussels - Belgium
There is no mystery behind the origin of the Brussels sprout. Named after the capital of Belgium (and now, the capital of Europe), this mythical nightmare of young veggiephiliacs comes, quite obviously, from near Brussels. A minor character in the cabbage-cauliflower-broccoli family, the Brussels Sprout and the Belgian Endive comprise Belgium's most hearty claims to vegetable fame. |

Antwerp - Belgium
Antwerp (Flemish Antwerpen, French Anvers) is situated on the right bank of the river Scheldt (Flemish Schelde, French Escaut), 88km/55mi from its mouth in the North Sea. The river at this point is some 500m/550yds wide and, despite the distance from the sea, still experiences a tidal range of over 4m. Antwerp is the capital of the province of Antwerpen and the second largest seaport in Europe. |

Amsterdam and Den Haag - Holland
Its name is derived from Amstellerdam, indicative of the city's origin: a dam in the river Amstel. Settled as a small fishing village in the late 12th century, Amsterdam became one of the most important ports in the world during the Dutch Golden Age, a result of its innovative developments in trade. During that time, the city was the leading centre for finance and diamonds. In the 19th and 20th centuries, the city expanded, and many new neighborhoods and suburbs were formed.

Pisa, Italia
Pisa, renowned worldwide for its Leaning Tower, definitely deserves more than the usual day stop which traditionally occurs on tourist routes. The city boasts an ancient history which was at its most splendid during the era of the Marine Republic. |

Firenze, Italia
The Renaissance was a rebirth that occurred throughout most of Europe. However, the changes that we associate with the Renaissance first occurred in the Italian city of Florence and continued to be more pervasive there than anywhere else. The city's economy and its writers, painters, architects, and philosophers all made Florence a model of Renaissance culture. |

Dresden - Germany
I woke up 8am one Saturday morning and said to myself, "I want to go to Germany to drink Weissbeer.". After checking the schedule, Mia and I targetted to take the train from Nádraží Holešovice 10am only to arrive at the platform helplessly watching the doors closed. If we had been there a few seconds earlier, we could have catched it.

Swiss Christmas Holiday
My first Christmas outside Philippines and also my first time without my immediate family..
It was interesting. New people, new traditions, new culture, and new faces. We spent it at Mike's mom's place. Attendees were Tine, Michael, Tita Vange - Michael's mom, Gaby (Tine's cousin / Tita Rica's daughter. Tita Rica is Tita Gina's sister), Vince and Mark who are Michael's second and third brother, then last but not the least, me.

Paris and Versailles - France
Well informed, eloquent and oh-so-romantic, the City of Light is a philosopher, a poet, a crooner. As it always has been, Paris is a million different things to a million different people. Paris has all but exhausted the superlatives that can reasonably be applied to any city. Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower – at sunrise, at sunset, at night – have been described countless times, as have the Seine and the subtle (and not-so-subtle) differences between the Left and Right Banks. But what writers have been unable to capture is the grandness and even the magic. |
